Gauge: 3.50mm needles: 24 stitches and 35 rows = 10cm x 10cm / 4 x 4 inches (measurements were taken after the garment was washed, blocked and dried)

Feodosiia contains a bit of spinning oil and excess dye, these will disappear with the first wash, and the yarn will bloom and become very soft. For this reason, we strongly recommend washing and blocking your gauge swatch before starting your project.

Feodosiia is a 100% Superfine Lambswool yarn with a soft rounded handle.

This yarn is produced for us by a Scottish spinner with 150 years of expertise.

All fibre is supplied from certified sheep farms across Australia.

The wool fibre is sourced from sheep who have been treated with respect to the five freedoms of animal welfare, including non-mulesing and traceability. They have been reared on sheep farms where a sustainable farming approach is applied to encompass all environmental protocols, from sheep husbandry to looking after the grazed land and preserving the biodiversity of all native species for future generations.

Feodosiia is one of the softest yarns available on the market and it can be compared to cashmere. This is a perfect yarn for those persons with a sensitive skein and for baby garments.
